If you have a website, a forum or a blog, Show my IP lets you display your visitors' IP address on your pages. The service is free and very easy to set up: just copy the code below and paste it into the HTML of your pages wherever you want it to appear. It does not include any advertising, only a link to this site.

Why show the IP address on my website?

There are many reasons to show the IP address on your website, but the main one is as a deterrent to people who want to leave anonymous abusive or spam messages. It is a good idea to show the user's IP on the page where they post comments or open new topics on a forum. Since the IP address is a unique identifier, they will know that anything they do could be traced. Obviously this does NOT protect you from that kind of message, but it does make users think twice before writing anything.

Besides, showing the user's IP on your web pages is an added service that gives value to your website.
